Reminder for coaches meeting on march 26th 7pm at miry brook firehouse. This is for the entry fee collection and voting  on new rule changes.

 

If you have not submitted your roster, please use the roster submission tab on the website. We will not be accepting any hand written rosters, they must be typed out or submitted online

From our first coaches meeting, here are the 2 proposed rule changes that need to be voted on at the meeting on March 26th

 

1. For the 6:15 game ONLY, if one or both teams are short player(s) there will be a 15 minute grace period to be allowed in order to avoid a forfeit. This will be discussed at the coin flip. If both teams agree to the grace period, the game will consist of 5innings only. There will be no run rule for this game, if the game is tied after 5 innings then extra innings will be played until the game ends. That grace period begins at 6:15 and ends promptly at 6:30. If the team(s) still does not have enough players after that 15 minutes then they will be required to forfeit. Game will start the moment the team(s) get a minimum of 9 players. The lineup rule will still be in effect.

 

 

2. DH for pitcher only. At the start of the game you may delcare to use a designated hitter for their pitcher. It needs to be written on your lineup card prior to handing it in. If a team determines they will be using the DH, the pitcher may not hit at any point during the game and that DH cannot play in the field at any point during the game unless the pitcher is subbed out. If the pitcher is subbed out they may not return to the game and the DH will now play the field. If a player is injured the DH cannot be used in place of that injured player.
